$GAP on Robinhood Chain

Wall Street closes Friday. Robinhood Chain does not.

Stock Tokens keep trading all weekend while their price feeds hold Friday's last answer. Monday Open shows the gap between the two, live, until the opening bell settles it.

How to read it.Gap is the pool price divided by the feed price, minus one. Above zero, the weekend is trading over the feed's last answer. Below zero, under it.

Where it comes from.Pool prices: the DEX Screener API, each token's deepest pool, every 30 seconds. Feed prices: Chainlink latestRoundData(), read from Robinhood Chain in your browser, every 60 seconds.

Its limits.Pools under $50,000 deep are marked thin and left out of the summary. A feed moves on a 0.5% change or a 24 hour heartbeat, so its held answer can sit up to 0.5% from the last trade. A gap is not a forecast.

How it works

Two pages. One open gap.

A trading week now runs on two clocks. Wall Street keeps hours and Robinhood Chain does not. The weekend sits between Friday's page and Monday's, and that open space is where the gap forms.

This weekend, in New York time.

Friday to Monday.

  1. 01

    Friday close.

    Friday, 4:00 PM New York.

The regular session ends. The Chainlink feeds for Stock Tokens keep publishing until 8:00 PM, then hold their last answer through the weekend.

  2. 02

    The open spine.

    All weekend, around the clock.

Stock Tokens keep trading in Robinhood Chain pools. News lands, prices move, and the pools drift away from the held feeds. That drift is the implied gap.

  3. 03

    Monday open.

    Monday, 9:30 AM New York.

The feeds wake up Sunday at 8:00 PM and catch up overnight. At the bell, the open prints the real gap, and the board resets for the next weekend.

The next product is a market on the open itself. Before the bell, pick where a Stock Token opens against its held Friday price: up, flat or down. It needs smart contracts that are not built yet, so nothing on this site takes a deposit or a call. What you see here is the design.

Questions

Plain answers.

What is the Monday gap?

The distance between a stock's Friday close and its Monday open. News does not wait for the bell, so Monday's first print often lands away from Friday's last one. On Robinhood Chain, Stock Tokens keep trading through the weekend, so the gap starts to show before Wall Street opens.

Where do the numbers come from?

Two public sources, read by your browser. Pool prices come from the DEX Screener API, using each Stock Token's deepest pool on Robinhood Chain. Feed prices come from each token's Chainlink feed, read with latestRoundData() over Robinhood Chain's public RPC. A Stock Token feed prices one token, multiplier included, so the two compare directly. If a source fails, the board says so and shows a dated snapshot.

Does the board predict the open?

No. It shows what weekend trading implies, nothing more. Thin pools, wide spreads and a few large trades can all move a weekend price. Monday can open anywhere.

Is betting on the gap live?

No. It is a designed preview, marked Coming soon. It needs smart contracts that do not exist yet. Nothing on this site takes deposits.

What are Stock Tokens?

Tokens on Robinhood Chain that track the price of a US-listed stock or fund. They are issued by a third party, they are not available in every country, and their terms are set by their issuer, not by Monday Open.

Is $GAP a Stock Token?

No. $GAP is the community token of Monday Open. It does not track any stock and gives no rights to anything.

Is any of this investment advice?

No. Nothing here is investment advice. Tokens are volatile and can lose all their value. Only use money you can afford to lose.
